Our Story
In the heart of Moksha Studio beats the soulful rhythm of my creative journey. I'm Nidhi Sharma, the artisan behind every stroke and curve shaping this home-based pottery sanctuary. My love affair with pottery began in August 2019, a serendipitous encounter during a one-day workshop and the act of molding raw earth into exquisite forms spoke to my very essence, igniting a passion that would become the driving force behind Moksha Studio.
Amidst this upheaval, the transition to remote work due to pandamic provided a newfound canvas for introspection. It was within this introspective cocoon that I embarked on a voyage of self-discovery, marked by moments of contemplation and daring exploration.
At Moksha Studio, our mission is to craft ceramics that heal and reconnect. Each piece is infused with the intention to nurture your inner child and envelop your adult self in a blanket of safety and joy.
Let me share a little story with you: As a child, I delighted in dressing up and admiring myself in the mirror before heading out the door. But as I got older, the opinions of others crept in, casting doubt on my choices and appearance. Their judgments led me to neglect myself, avoiding the mirror altogether out of fear of not recognising the person staring back at me—a version molded by societal expectations.
Chances are, you've had similar experiences in your own childhood, moments that shaped your beliefs and identity. As adults, we often grapple with the dichotomy between who we're expected to be and who we truly are.
To guide you back to your authentic self, free from the shackles of societal conditioning, we've crafted our Affirmation ceramics. These tangible reminders serve as beacons of self-love and empowerment, gently nudging you to believe in your inherent beauty, worth, and capacity to dream boldly. So, let Moksha Studio be your sanctuary, where each piece whispers a gentle reminder:
You are enough. You are worthy.
You are loved—by yourself, above all.
